Best Scope and Tripod Carrier-Ever

At Eagle Optics, we pride ourselves on knowing how well a product functions. The new Duckbill Scope and Tripod Carrier is one of those items that we have had a lot of fun working with and discovering how well made and highly functional it is for easily carrying your scope and tripod. Our Eagle Optics manager, Ben, has the Duckbill carrier at the annual convention of the American Birding Association this week. Once our customers see the Duckbill in action, this carrier will become a must-have tripod accessory---just like the binocular harness strap is a necessity for carrying binos!

We have managed to get more of the Swarovski EL 8x32 Class A condition binocular. An Eagle Optics favorite, this is one binocular you won't ever be without. These gently-used demos from Swarovski will save you an additional $300 over the current sale Swarovski has on its ELs and SLCs.

Migration---at last!

Finally, some winds from the south and warmer weather have brought additional migration to Southern Wisconsin. My backyard has been filled with White-Throated Sparrows (photo courtesy of Mike McDowell), as well as other species. On a walk around my neighborhood, I easily added another 15 species. Small and large tracts of preserved habitat interspersed with housing are responsible for the variety of birds and wildlife I enjoy daily and are a testament to the importance of maintaining natural areas as progress creeps in.
