Breakfast With A Red Fox

Relaxing this past Saturday morning, I was fixing my breakfast when a Red Fox came trotting foxblog.jpgdown the snow-covered bike path behind my house. My family had reported frequent sightings of this guy and after grabbing the binoculars and spotting scope, I was finally able to get a good look at our new winter resident. The binoculars provided me with a front row view of the fox searching the base of a tree. His efforts were rewarded with a frozen squirrel and after looking around, the fox took his find further into the wooded area. I watched through my spotting scope for a while as he enjoyed his breakfast. My breakfast, however, was not to be enjoyed. It had burned beyond even the dog's standards.

Always an animal lover, the regular use of sport optics has afforded me dramatic details of nature not seen by the naked eye. Currently Eagle Optics has some really outstanding values on binoculars---available while supplies last. We are upgrading our very popular Eagle Optics Denali and are currently closing out the Denali 10x42. Another good "bang for the buck" right now is the Nikon Premier LX L 10x32, 8x32, and 10x42. Last but not least is the sale pricing of the mid and full size Leica Ultravid Binoculars. Call us for information on availability of these items or other over-the-phone specials.

This morning a pair of Red Foxes were actually playing in my backyard. Now I need to buy an extra pair of binoculars for the family to use when the foxes visit with their pups. Good thing they are on sale!
